Privacy & CDL Data Policy

1. Information we collect

When you submit a driver application, LaneBridge may collect information you provide such as your name, phone number, email address, current state, CDL class and state, driving experience, preferred position, SAP status, accident or violation information, desired pay, route preferences, home-time preferences, notes, a photo of your CDL, and—if you choose to provide them—an MVR and/or Medical Card.

2. Why we collect CDL information

We use CDL information to review your qualifications, confirm the information you submit, evaluate potential matches with motor carriers, communicate with you about recruiting opportunities, and support the hiring or placement process.

3. How CDL photos are handled

CDL photos, MVR files, and Medical Card files are stored in private storage and are not intended to be publicly accessible. Access is limited to authorized LaneBridge admin users. When necessary for recruiting, LaneBridge may share relevant application information or documents with a motor carrier that is considering you for an opportunity.

4. No sale of CDL data

LaneBridge does not sell CDL photos or personal application information as a standalone data product.

5. Retention

We keep driver application information and CDL photos only for as long as reasonably necessary for recruiting, placement, recordkeeping, security, or other legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion of your application data by contacting us.

6. Your choices

You may contact LaneBridge to ask about your information, request a correction, withdraw from recruiting consideration, or request deletion of your application data where applicable.

7. Security

LaneBridge uses access controls and private file storage intended to limit access to CDL photos and recruiting records. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should submit only information reasonably necessary for recruiting.

8. Service providers

LaneBridge may use third-party infrastructure providers to operate the website, private data storage, security, and operational notifications. LaneBridge limits the information sent to notification services and does not intentionally send CDL images through email notifications.

9. Driver confirmation and consent

By submitting a driver application and checking the consent box, you confirm that the information and CDL image you provide belong to you or that you are authorized to provide them. You also consent to LaneBridge processing that information for recruiting purposes and, when appropriate, sharing relevant information with motor carriers for hiring consideration.
